Another COGIC Pastor Charged With Raping A Child
PimpPreacher.com Atlanta Bureau 11/30/2011

Another Church of God in Christ Pastor has been arrested for sex crimes against an underage child. The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office arrested Thomas Archie Wiggins Jr, 54, on five counts of first-degree sexual offense and five counts of indecent liberties with a minor.

“The crimes allegedly took place in 1998, said Sgt. J.J. Brewer, spokesman for the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office.

As of Tuesday, Wiggins was listed as the pastor on the website for Wilmington’s Faith Temple Church of God and Christ, 1119 S. 4th St.

Phone calls to the church Tuesday afternoon went unanswered.

According to the organization’s website, Wiggins has been a pastor at the church since December 1998, but Brewer said he did not know when during that year the alleged incidents took place.

Wiggins was booked into the New Hanover County jail under a $100,000 secured bond, but bonded out later in the day, according to jail officials.

This latest arrest comes on the heels of the most recent COGIC Holy Convocation in which Church Folk Revolution members have criticized Presiding Bishop Charles Blake for ignoring victims of rape with in his organization.

Same Old Same Old

In typical COGIC response to the rape of another child, members of Wilmington’s Faith Temple are flooding the internet with support for their pastor, and no concern for the victim. Listed below are actual comments posted on a local news blog in support of Thomas Archie Wiggins Jr.

We NEED to Pray for Pastor

It greives my heart to hear of this news! Most of us in the Wilmington, NC and surrounding area’s know this he IS Truly a Man of God! It is ashame that someone would 13years later bring up charges like this. It sounds to me like someone is out to get some money or some type of revenge. You are 14years old but wait until you are 27years GROWN to open your mouth and report something like this?

I only pray for mercy for the ones lying on God’s Man servant that they be not destroyed, because God will vindicate His own.

I don’t understand why after

I don’t understand why after so many years do a person want to destroy a person life with allegations and remarks of something that’s just not right. I pray that God will intercede with this situation, because Pastor Wiggins is a a Man of God and he is not to be judged. Only God can judge him and not man.

Pastor we are praying with

Submitted by Musician (not verified) on Tue, 11/29/2011 – 7:44pm.

Pastor we are praying with you. Everyone needs to understand that God is in control of everything under the heavens. The satan had to get permission from God before he was able to attack Job. Likewise the devil was given permission to attack Wiggins. It is just a test for him as well as the body of Christ. Are we going to turn our backs on him now we he faithfully brought the true word of God to us? Remember just because he is a pastor does not mean he is exempt for the devil tempting his flesh. Again, satan Tempted Jesus. Now is the time to show what prayer can really do.

Let’s all pray for this Man of God!

I am uneasy about this Man of God being arrested. I heard him preach before. We must not judge, but pray for the truth to come out, for this Pastor, his congregations, and family. So far these are allegations. Again this is very unsettling to know. I hope that the allegations are not true. However instead of Gossiping about him. Pray for him and everyone involved in these circumstances.

To that comment: Crimes are

Submitted by Antonio (not verified) on Wed, 11/30/2011 – 7:49am.

To that comment:

Crimes are crimes and GOD set in place laws to abide by in the physical form. No matter who you are and what religion you are, you are to follow the law. The bible isn’t a book to hide your crimes and that has nothing to do with the devil attacking. God gave people the ability to make choices and freewill and this sounds like he chose the wrong thing to do. What’s done in the dark will come to light. If someone commits a murder 30 years ago, and then gets saved later on in life, is he not suppose to stand up and face that crime?

Vatican Christmas Shocker! Pope says child rape isn’t that bad, was normal back in his day!

Victims of clerical sex abuse have reacted furiously to Pope Benedict’s claim yesterday that paedophilia wasn’t considered an “absolute evil” as recently as the 1970s.

In his traditional Christmas address yesterday to cardinals and officials working in Rome, Pope Benedict XVI also claimed that child pornography was increasingly considered “normal” by society.

“In the 1970s, paedophilia was theorised as something fully in conformity with man and even with children,” the Pope said.

“It was maintained – even within the realm of Catholic theology – that there is no such thing as evil in itself or good in itself. There is only a ‘better than’ and a ‘worse than’. Nothing is good or bad in itself.”

The Pope said abuse revelations in 2010 reached “an unimaginable dimension” which brought “humiliation” on the Church.

Asking how abuse exploded within the Church, the Pontiff called on senior clerics “to repair as much as possible the injustices that occurred” and to help victims heal through a better presentation of the Christian message.

“We cannot remain silent about the context of these times in which these events have come to light,” he said, citing the growth of child pornography “that seems in some way to be considered more and more normal by society” he said.

But outraged Dublin victim Andrew Madden last night insisted that child abuse was not considered normal in the company he kept.

Mr Madden accused the Pope of not knowing that child pornography was the viewing of images of children being sexually abused, and should be named as such.

He said: “That is not normal. I don’t know what company the Pope has been keeping for the past 50 years.”

Pope Benedict also said sex tourism in the Third World was “threatening an entire generation”.

Angry abuse victims in America last night said that while some Church officials have blamed the liberalism of the 1960s for the Church’s sex abuse scandals and cover-up catastrophes, Pope Benedict had come up with a new theory of blaming the 1970s.

“Catholics should be embarrassed to hear their Pope talk again and again about abuse while doing little or nothing to stop it and to mischaracterise this heinous crisis,” said Barbara Blaine, the head of SNAP, the Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests,

“It is fundamentally disturbing to watch a brilliant man so conveniently misdiagnose a horrific scandal,” she added.

“The Pope insists on talking about a vague ‘broader context’ he can’t control, while ignoring the clear ‘broader context’ he can influence – the long-standing and unhealthy culture of a rigid, secretive, all-male Church hierarchy fixated on self-preservation at all costs. This is the ‘context’ that matters.”

The latest controversy comes as the German magazine Der Spiegel continues to investigate the Pope’s role in allowing a known paedophile priest to work with children in the early 1980s.

By C. A. Webb “Conversations Book Club” (Jackson, MS) – Review of Teddy Bear: Stolen Innocence!

By C. A. Webb “Conversations Book Club” (Jackson, MS) – See all my reviews

In TEDDY BEAR: Stolen Innocence Dr. Loren Due and others share what are very painful and at times unimaginable slivers of their lives as they dealt with abuse. The book begins with Due, himself, taking us into his own pain that unfortunately began in the home with his father and brother and led to choices in life that took him away from the person he was destined to be. Inside of the house where the abuse was born, however, we also learn a great deal about how some families choose to deal with circumstances that might arise in the home as well as issues of mental illness that may not be diagnosed until much later.

While many would choose to hate because of what they have been forced to endure, Dr. Due and those whose stories you get a chance to read take a different approach. They choose to become survivors and forgive those who who did them harm. This is not something that comes easy for some, but that was for me one of the most powerful lessons of this book. The EASY thing would be to hold on to the hate and resentment. It takes strength and courage to forgive and love in spite of. This doesn’t mean that you are condoning the actions, but that you choose to give up judgment to someone higher than you.

Dr. Due even says in the book that he has become a better person in various aspects of his life because of what he has survived. He knows what is right and wrong, and he chooses to do what is right. It’s all about choice.

No matter what we have gone through, there is a lesson for all of us in this. Forgiveness has the power to break any of the chains that might try and bind us to the past. We have to be willing to move forward and let the knowledge of the experiences of our lives to help us be the person we were created to be.

I also want to stress the importance of breaking the silence and letting it be known what is not to be accepted when it comes to our lives. Part of what the abuser uses is the threat that comes with speaking out. We have to know that by telling, by reporting the abuse, we are actually taking the power back that belongs to us—and we are making sure that this doesn’t have to happen to anyone else.

Difficult at times to read but important for us all, TEDDY BEAR: Stolen Innocence is a book that will stay with you forever.

Parallels between recent abuse cases are disturbing!

Parallels between recent abuse cases are disturbing

SNAP: The parallels between recent sex abuse cases are disturbing
Statement by Barbara Dorris, Outreach Director of SNAP, the Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests (moc.liamgnull@sirrodPANS, 314-503-0003)

The parallels that can be drawn between the scandal at the Citadel and the situation at Penn State are disturbing.

At both institutions, a man in a position of authority and influence used his status to approach, groom, and ultimately molest young boys. At both institutions, reports were made to the predator’s superiors that something wrong was happening. And at both institutions, these superiors failed to act. Through their efforts to protect the name and reputations of their respective institutions, officials at PSU and the Citadel allowed more children to be victimized.

What is most disturbing about these scandals, however, is that they are not new or unheard of. Rather, these are a recent reiteration of the same type of cover-up that has plagued other organizations that held their reputations above the safety of children; institutions like the Boy Scouts of America, the Church of Latter Day Saints, and to a much greater extent, the Catholic Church.

What is different about PSU and the Citadel, however, is that the outside reaction – from parents, alumni, community members, and the media – has been visceral. These people have rightly been outraged, and heads have rolled because of their public outcry.

Yet we see no such outcry with the church. On the contrary, people have jumped to defend the priests that have been accused of molesting young boys and girls, and moved quickly to attempt to discredit those who came forward, citing misnomers as “this abuse occurred so long ago, get over it,” “you’re in it for the money, “and “if you were actually abused, what took you so long to come forward?”

The issue with this type of reaction is not only that it is mean-spirited, but it deters others who may have seen or suspected clergy abuse from coming forward, and it deters the type of public outrage that have shamed PSU and the Citadel, and therefore, the repercussions that come with it.

So we applaud the reaction from community members and share in their outrage at the officials at the Citadel. Through their inaction, they allowed this predator to change hunting grounds – moving from the university to a local high school – and avoid responsibility, in the same way that the Catholic church has done for so long. We hope that a full investigation is launched in order to determine who knew what, and when exactly they knew it, and we urge that this investigation be undertaken by outside authorities. We also call on Citadel President John Rosa to do real outreach, and do everything within his power to beg others who may have been victimized or seen these crimes occur to come forward, get help, start healing, and tell their story.

(SNAP, the Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests, is the world’s oldest and largest support group for clergy abuse victims. Founded in 1988, we now have more than 10,000 members. Despite the word “priest” in our title, we have members who were molested by religious figures of all denominations, including nuns, rabbis, bishops, and Protestant ministers. The Citadel faces abuse scandal similar to Penn State’s
There’s a story unfolding in Charleston, S.C., that sounds depressingly similar to the scandal that has rocked Penn State University.
Officials at The Citadel, “the military college of South Carolina,” are admitting they did not do enough after learning that a man in custody in Mount Pleasant, S.C., who has been accused of sexually abusing at least five boys in recent years, was brought to the school’s attention in 2007. Then, school officials were told, he had engaged in inappropriate sexual activities with boys during a summer camp at the college in 2002. An internal investigation was done, but police were never informed.

“As an institution responsible for delivering tomorrow’s leaders, we hold The Citadel to a higher standard,” Citadel President Gen. John Rosa said Monday. “We tell cadets to go beyond enforcing rules – to do what’s right. We are confronted with an investigation from 2007 in which I do not believe we met that standard.”
The school has retained outside consultants “to review the procedures that the college followed in this matter and recommend how we can improve our capacity to protect those living, learning, and working at The Citadel,” Rosa added.
Louis “Skip” ReVille, 32, a Citadel alum, is accused of sexually abusing boys he coached in Mount Pleasant. In 2007, as Charleston’s Post and Courier reports, Citadel officials were told by a suspected victim that five years earlier ReVille had invited him and other boys to a dorm room on campus. ReVille, the boy said, showed them pornography and encouraged them to masturbate. The boy was 14 years old at the time.
ReVille went on to become a school principal and coach in Mount Pleasant. Local WCSC-TV reports that investigators say he now has “confessed to charges he sexually molested teen boys, aged 13 to 15.”
At Penn State, former assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky has been accused of sexually abusing at least eight boys over more than a decade, sometimes on campus. And school officials have been accused of not informing authorities, even though they had been warned by witnesses of Sandusky’s alleged crimes. Sandusky says he’s innocent.

Masturbation Liberation! Part 2.

Masturbation Liberation!
By: Loren C. Due, Ph.D., Sexual Healer

Part 2

Listeners’ claim they have gained new insight listening to my program taught by me where I use a practical approach to teaching and speaking. I am direct and I pull no punches; currently serving as Pastor and Teacher of JOY Christian Center (Cyber Church) in Colorado and ordained in 1993. I accepted Jesus Christ at the age of eleven and acted on my call from God to teach at the age of thirteen by teaching Sunday school for church where my father was the Pastor and the first man to sexually rape and abuse me between the ages of four and eleven.

My older brother molested and raped me when he was home from boy’s reform school. One vivid memory of the abuse by my older brother is the night he came home and ate raw bacon and used the grease from the bacon to lubricate my anus. This incident was confirmed by my older sister who remembers our brother coming home and eating the raw bacon. On many occasions our brother would return home high or drunk or both. His behavior was so bad that he scared my parents because he was so disobedient and hard-headed. One time my brother was so angry with my dad that he tried to kill him and my mother poured cold water over him to stop him from choking my dad.

My mother worked on three separate jobs while I was growing up; one as a day worker for white people in their homes as the cleaning lady, another job she did was to work with Sister Kidd catering parties for the rich white people and in the evening she took in sewing for people in our community. Most of my adolescence years are a blur to me, but I fondly remember my mother bringing home incredible leftovers of prime rib, leg-of-lamb and pot-roast from the white people’s homes she worked in. For the record my mother seemed to be gone from our home more than she was there because her mission was to see to it that we had food and shelter. My father had this lazy habit of getting jobs in women’s small boutique stores that specialized in lingerie which did not pay very much to a janitor. It was this exposure with my father that stirred my interest in women’s underwear.

Three Cops Convicted in Post-Katrina Slaying!

Three Cops Convicted in Post-Katrina Shooting

In the end, there was justice for Henry Glover.

Shot down by police outside a strip mall for no reason, his body burned up in a car in an obvious attempt to destroy evidence in the confused days after Hurricane Katrina wrecked New Orleans, Glover’s case became a symbol of what happens when police officers lose control.

Three officers were convicted yesterday in connection to Glover’s death and two were acquitted of charges in the cover-up.

Officer David Warren, accused of shooting an unarmed Glover in the back, was found guilty of manslaughter. Officer Gregory McRae was convicted of burning Glover’s body in an attempt to cover-up the shooting. Police Lt. Travis McCabe was convicted of writing a false report on the shooting and lying to federal investigators.

While Glover’s family members are understandably upset that the manslaughter conviction wasn’t a murder conviction and that two officers were able to escape charges, they should be gratified that Glover’s death wasn’t swept under the rug.

The misconduct by the officers kept the truth hidden from the public for nearly four years. Luckily federal prosecutors stepped in to conduct an open investigation into the charges.

The Glover case is one of nine civil rights violation cases facing the New Orleans Police Department, which has labored under the reputation of being among the most corrupt and brutal big city police units in the nation.

Ten more officers are facing charges in the Danziger Bridge police shooting that killed two unarmed people and occurred two days after Glover’s shooting.

There will be a number of New Orleans police officers sitting behind bars when this very ugly chapter of murderous policing is closed.

But I hope some investigators force these officers to talk about why they lost control. Everyone knows the aftermath of Katrina was a confused and dangerous time for all people in the city. The stress was unimaginable.

But far too many New Orleans police officers lost their minds in the chaos. We need to find out why so it doesn’t happen again.

WATCH: Atheist Hitchens Says the Pope Needs to be Served Papers and Arrested Even if it is at the Vatican; And “Protestant” Christians Should Agree With That.

Where Is the Protestant Christian Outrage against These Wicked and Heinous Crimes Against Our Children and Against Humanity?

Richard Dawkins, the atheist campaigner, is planning a legal ambush to have the Pope arrested during his state visit to Britain “for crimes against humanity”.

Dawkins and Christopher Hitchens, the atheist author, have asked human rights lawyers to produce a case for charging Pope Benedict XVI over his alleged cover-up of sexual abuse in the Catholic church.

The pair believe they can exploit the same legal principle used to arrest Augusto Pinochet, the late Chilean dictator, when he visited Britain in 1998.

The Pope was embroiled in new controversy this weekend over a letter he signed arguing that the “good of the universal church” should be considered against the defrocking of an American priest who committed sex offences against two boys. It was dated 1985, when he was in charge of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, which deals with sex abuse cases.

Red Panties! This is the beginning of my story:1946 – 1986.

Red Panties represents the title of my memoir that I am writing these days and desire to have available for your reading pleasure soon. The memoir will cover the period of 1946 through 1986 and reveal the types of things that I went through being a Christian saved and sanctified with the gift of Holy Spirit speaking in tongues and a Sex Addict simultaneously.

This book will reveal how God in His mercy blessed me to overcome being sexually abused as a child, raped and molested. The book will show how God blessed me to transition from my childhood sexual tragedies to becoming a fully fledged sexual addict and finally receiving complete healing and deliverance by God Himself.

His Word says that “He sent His Word and healed them of all their destructions.” That is exactly what God did for me by blessing me to forgive and unconditionally love my father, brother and sister who were my abusers. You will say where my mother was – she worked three and four jobs to keep us from being hungry, homeless and helping my dad build a church.

I know my assignment is to uncover, expose and be one of the many catalysts to get people talking about the taboo of sex so that the spirit of shame, embarrassment and guilt is broken and bringing healing to those who desire help.

It is now time for others abused like me (male and female) to be able to confront our abusers and release ourselves from the bondage that has held so many in silences for too long. This is necessary even if the abuser claims to be innocent as I found out when I confronted my brother. I never did get to confront my father, but I have forgiven and love him unconditionally which the Lord blessed me to do rather than for me to go to hell with the hate that was in my heart for my father. My sister and I have reconciled and we chat periodically.

Only God could deliver me from sexual addiction since the world system does not believe you can be delivered.

Red Panties will be graphic to make the point for you to know that no matter how deep the sin and sinful behavior God delivers. Red Panties is actually the book that represents my behavior before I wrote “Don’t Say a Word About This! Exposing and Confronting Sexual Perversion!”

In Red Panties you will learn just how the Lord brought me out of sexual perversion and how he has given me the ability to help those who desire to be free totally in body, mind and soul from what I believe to be the most addictive behavior on the planet – sexual addiction.

Red Panties is written in a style that may offend some Christians and cause them to cringe at its candor and detail. This detail is written to let you know that I know what I am talking about and how I can help you that desire to be helped with love and understanding. The book is not about condemning anyone or character assassination, but rather exposing the truth as I experienced it.

God desires the best for all of us, but each individual needs to want to receive God and enjoy Gods best here on this planet. He will not make us do anything we do not want to do.

You will be able to order your copy of Red Panties soon.
